NORTH BENGAL’S FIRST SANSKRIT SCHOOL INAUGURATED AT SILIGURI

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 15th September, 2016: The First Sanskrit School of North Bengal was today inaugurated at Siliguri. The inauguration was done by Swami Rameshwaranand Maharaj from Haridwar. The school i.e. Maheshmarati Omkareshwar Shikshalaya is located at Siliguri’s Champasari. It was established by Major Arjun Rai. In this occasion, Swami Rameshwaranandji Maharaj told TNI that currently, more than 50 students have taken admission in this school. Most of them belong from Sikkim, Kalimpong, Darjeeling, Nepal, Bhutan and other far-flung areas. After completion of the basic infrastructure of the school, more students from the North East will have the opportunity to study here.
